Nestled within the iconic Mandalay Bay Resort on bustling South Las Vegas Boulevard, Seabreeze Cafe delivers an inviting haven for breakfast and brunch enthusiasts seeking a satisfying start to their day. Specializing in classic American breakfast and brunch fare, this vibrant café artfully blends comfort with a touch of resort elegance, making it a favored destination for both hotel guests and locals alike.
The menu is a delightful exploration of morning favorites crafted with fresh, flavorful ingredients. Guests rave about signature dishes such as the perfectly poached Eggs Benedict, boasting rich hollandaise enveloping tender eggs atop crisp English muffins. Those with a sweet tooth will find the Crunchy French Toast and the luscious Banana Pancakes or indulgent Nutella Pancakes irresistible, each offering a harmonious balance between fluffy textures and satisfying sweetness. For a savory twist, the hearty Breakfast Burrito paired with salsa verde or the comforting Chicken and Waffle Sandwich showcase the kitchen’s versatility.
Seabreeze Cafe also caters to those craving lighter fare with fresh options like the Fresh Fruit Plate — praised for its bright, crisp produce — and the delicately smoked salmon plate, perfect for a refined palate. Coffee aficionados will notice a distinctive touch to their brewed cup; the coffee features a subtle hint of chicory reminiscent of New Orleans, adding depth and warmth to each sip, elevating the classic breakfast experience. And for those looking to unwind, the café's Bottomless Mimosa and their whimsical Signature Bloody Mary provide playful indulgence in a convivial atmosphere.
The dining ambiance at Seabreeze is relaxed yet energetic, reflecting the dynamic vibe of Mandalay Bay itself. While breakfast service often attracts lively crowds, leading to waits especially without reservations, the attentive and friendly staff—like Shannon, frequently commended by guests—ensure that every visitor feels welcomed and well cared for. The bustling environment pulsates with the hum of anticipation and satisfied chatter, perfectly complementing the hearty meals and vibrant flavors served.
It's worth noting, as some patrons have observed, the café's popularity within the resort means pricing skews toward the premium side, with wait times that can stretch especially during peak hours. However, for most, this is a small price to pay for the quality and atmosphere. Whether indulging in a Croque Madame or crafting your own omelette from fresh ingredients, Seabreeze Cafe remains an essential stop for those seeking a memorable and delicious brunch experience in Las Vegas.
In summary, Seabreeze Cafe combines a carefully curated menu with warm service and a vibrant setting, delivering a refreshing breakfast and brunch destination. From the enticing aroma of coffee to the satisfying bite of their creative breakfast sandwiches and classic favorites, this café stands out as a bright spot for early-day dining on the Las Vegas strip.
Restaurant located inside Mandalay Beach Resort. Review limited to breakfast. It was very good. Menu has eggs, pancakes, breakfast meats, French toast etc. I had the fruit plate and the fruit was fresh. Service was friendly and quick. Being at a resort hotel expect to pay higher $$.
We really enjoyed our visit for brunch. Shannon was our waitress and she was very, very friendly. Food was pretty good. However, the breakfast potatoes may have been sitting being made in advance. Reservations are definitely a requirement unless you want to stand in line stretching into the casino. We'd return here again if staying at Mandalay bay.
The boyfriend wanted steak and eggs and this was the first option I came actually because we were staying at Mandalay Bay. He was more than happy with this dish, the steak was great. My breakfast burrito was good too, especially with the salsa verde. My only complaint was that I felt like I was waiting in line at some kind of exclusive night club because people who had an MGM card were given entry first. Just be prepared for a wait and maybe make friends with people in line to make the wait go by faster.
Great place for breakfast. The wait line is pretty long but worth it. The coffee has a light touch of chicory in it which reminds me of New Orleans. Can’t go wrong with Croque Madame. Way to go!
